Wellington Rotary's Past President's Dinner was held at the Wellington Legion on June 23, 2026. It commemorated a successful Rotary year for 2025-2026 President (Yvonne Buys) and welcomed the 2026-2027 President (Chris Compeau). Pictures at the link HERE, and story follows:
It was a pot-luck dinner with majority of Rotarians and spouses attending. We thanked the out-going President with a thank-you gift and a Paul Harris Fellow award, and welcomed the next President and his Board for the 2026 - 2027 Rotary year. We also celebrated our oldest living Rotarian David Hawkins for his 90th birthday, and awarded 2026 Rotarian of the Year honours to Tim Cox and David Hawkins who each received Paul Harris Fellow award. Rotarian Bill Pennell also received his 6th Paul Harris Fellow award on this occasion.
